What is the best way to learn about different roles in FAANG?
I was a MBB consultant in India. I am in the US now with a AI products company.
I work well on the intersection of technology and business. I have conceptualised and deployed multiple enterprise products over the last 2 years.
I am looking to move to a bigger organization now. However I don't want to get into corporate strategy roles.
What are some other roles that could be a good fit for me?
Hi there, I will be completing 1 yoe in May 2022 and looking to join MBB's. My key skills are Aletryx, SQL, Excel with VBA, R, Python, Tableau, and Power BI. I am looking for some guidance from people working in Analyst roles at MBBs.
Currently a data analytics managers at a tech firm. Looking for referrals to consulting. Have about 5 yoe with some background in internal strategy/operations role. MBB is ideal but realistically Big4 or boutique makes sense. Thanks!
Currently at MBB with ~3.5 years of consulting experience and interested in making a move into PM position at tech. Worried that I would have difficulty even securing interviews. Has anyone in this bowl been in a similar position and can provide some perspective/ advice? Another piece of context is I’ve been doing product development/ PM work on my current job for ~7 months now, so want to use that experience to get a PM level role instead of starting fresh from APM
Are there restrictions on tradings stocks and options at MBB or non-big4 management consulting firms (LEK, Accenture, etc.)?
In terms of associate / consultant level, what’s the base pay and bonus percentage at MBB, Deloitte Monitor and Strategy&?
Hey folks, anybody willing to refer me for consulting position at MBB, Kearney, OW, EYP, S&.
I have more than 2 years of experience in market research firm and have worked in a startup in UK and Germany.
I had passed the CV screening at Bain, LEK and S& London offices last year. I will share the SS for credibility :)
I am happy to have quick chat.
Does it make sense to try and transfer to MBB after ~1 year to entry level associate or wait until promotion (~2 years) at current firm and come in as a senior associate
McKinsey & Company Bain & Company I went from Analyst to Senior Consultant at Deloitte in 2 years – likely the fastest in Australia. I’m in their Tech Practice. Should I stay here or consider exits at MBB or their respective Digital arms? What realistically would my options be like? Would I be starting from scratch? And if so would it be worth it? McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company Deloitte
Assuming I don’t get MBB, would you take AlixPartners, Kearney or LEK? My priorities are 1. Good reputation 2. Quick progression 3. Compensation
How's hiring at in MBB / T2 firms these days? Market still good or slowed down with the current economic environment?
Working for MBB was my dream throughout undergrad. I just signed an offer for a role I am excited about at FAANG, but I can’t help but feel twinges of jealousy for people who are getting into MBB with the recent increase in experienced hiring. Please help me 🤦🏻♀️
How do i enter in VC at an analyst position (pre-MBA). I have been working in a consulting firm (focused on healthcare. Not MBB) in India for the last 2 years and have applied on the career portals/cold emailed multiple VC firms. I havent received any response till date and was wondering what would be the right way to go about this since its a very small network in India . Any lead or guidance is appreciated.
Hi guys, I got a feeling that big 4 or T2 companies kinda quiet in jakarta as opposed to MBB where they conduct lots of recruiting events (management consulting). Any reason for that particularly or maybe big 4 prefer internal hiring only?
MBB folks, I’m a Product Manager (non-tech company) and interested in working at MBB.
Which level/role does MBB can offer me ?
What’s the VC /GE market’s appetite for hiring strategy consultants from T2/MBB in London?
How prevalent is the use of amphetamines (Adderall, Vyvanse) and other stimulants (Cocaine) at MBB, Big 4, etc?
MBB 🐠, do you place younger experienced hires from other consulting firms (1-3 YOE) into a specific industry and/or function (strategy, analytics, etc.), or do they just go into a generalist pool?

Do you need a healthcare-related graduate degree to progress your career in healthcare consulting? I majored in business/finance in undergrad and have 1 YOE at a healthcare boutique but am worried that I won’t be able to lateral without more schooling.
