Finally, I have put down my papers in Infosys, today. While it was fairly good tenure with Infosys (been getting consistently commendable ratings), it was not so good when it came to benefits given by company. Also, the assurance given by managers for onsite opportunities, the moment you indicate you might leave, is a bluff. They will apply visa and this and that without any onsite assignment available. I have read cases people holding H1B for 2 years and yet never got the opportunity to go

I’m in process of getting mine, but my firm has offices in both states so it was an easy case to make. If your firm is willing to pick up the expense and your UBE scores is transferable, I say go for it. I want to keep my options open down the road if I decide I want to be in Texas (family is there).
