Can you preserve some time in level when switching to MBB? I’m at 2 YOE. I understand that I would probably get the entry level title, but would some of my time in level transfer as well (I.e. I start not purely as an entry level title as if I just graduated, but as an entry level title with 1 year of progress of time in level)?

I had a phone interview with a big company last Wednesday.
The recruiter said that the director had reviewed my resume and was interested but wanted him to screen me.
He said “the job is yours” because I had “everything they were looking for” salary was within their range ETC…
He said someone will follow up with the next steps(video interview) Tomorrow will be a week and I haven’t heard anything not even a response to my thank you email .. I don’t know what to think 😫
