Currently my wify's package is 7.5 LPA at Capgemini as SAP ABAP developer and with overall experience of around 5.5ys.She has cleared all technical rounds in Accenture and having HR round in next week.how much she should asks for package?why I'm asking this because she was selected to the same Accenture in 2019 and at that time she asked 80 percent hike and for that reason the profile was kept on hold and eventually joined Infosys at that time

Overall it's a good WLB, and a good team environment. In every org, you will hear some grumblings about being over worked, but you take them with a grain of salt and understanding that every implementation project has crunch time. I haven't observed any unreasonable time demands or requirements, and it is clear the org is hiring to help improve. I'm happy.
I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement about WLB. If you are someone that knows oracle, you will be used and abused by the entire “practice” which is made up of first/second year analysts that will just ask you to help them learn their modules because Huron is billing them as a 23 year old SME. A bunch of Huron oracle were recruited to move to Deloitte and they just replaced them with undergrads to staff projects. WLB is terrible if you have knowledge that is valuable to the firm because you will basically be the “fluffer” for the practice.
As a result of the above, you may be offered a better salary than the firm traditionally has been known for
Appreciate your perspective!
I’m an Analyst, so I can’t speak for every job level or for every project, but my WLB has been great compared to my friends at Big 4. A lot of people aren’t pushing more than 40 hours, unlimited PTO that isn’t taboo, opportunity to work remotely, etc
Thanks for the response! I’ll direct message you for more insight.
My expectations for an analyst/associate would be about 40-45hrs/wk including client and internal work. Manager and director I would expect 45-50hrs/wk, with obvious ebbs and flows based on project cycles. If you’re consistently higher than those numbers, something is wrong.
