Does anybody know anyone who can write a really good resume? I’m seeing people on here with resumes better than mine and even they still can’t seem to land anything?? Please help.

Use this: https://flowcv.com/. thank me later! it is damn worth it. Good luck on bettering your resume and finding the right job for you!

Wonsulting (search on google for website or go to their instagram) gives free resume tips and tricks and reviews resumes. They also help with job searching, landing jobs, interviews, internships, and more. Implementing their advice has certainly upgraded the quality of my resume.

Actually put in effort. I can’t tell you the number of lazy ass people on here who don’t try to improve their document and submit the first thing that is written. Look to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg for resume guides and help pages. They’ve got plenty of templates to help you start. Make sure your bullets are all concise and of the format Action —> Result —> Impact. They all need to be quantified appropriately. Finally, the resume gets you an interview. No more, no less. You need to have the capability and presence to convert that into an offer letter across the rounds of human interaction and technical screenings.

Don’t pay stupid money for any service to do this for you. Learn how to do it yourself. Also your career center is a good place to start if you’re that lost. They offer horrible advice usually so transition to the above resources as early as possible. Shortcuts don’t help you in the long run!

This is very good advice and everyone should go back and read it again.

https://resumake.io/ use this! it totally helped me when I was making mine. you can use the JSON feature. if you are finding trouble with the first one then, this is the next best one: https://flowcv.com/ heard lots of good remarks about it.

Y’all please don’t pay for someone to write your resume. Their services are mostly a scam and they take peoples money with minimal effort in return. Unless you’re incompetent or lazy… do it yourself.

^ fake news yet again. Unless you’re in a creative field where you have to show off your design or something similar, ATS will ruin your resumes effectiveness. It’s useless to have a visually appealing resume that doesn’t get you an interview because you’re automatically placed in the ignore pile. A non-stylized resume will always get you more hits and callbacks if you are looking for a professional high paying career.

A1, what field are you in and what no-name company do you have HR experience in?

smart

Applying for a job is numbers game...beat the ATS system and you will get a job...don't use resume writing services...waste of money

Yes Richard Drosin Resume Service you can google him and his page will come up and he’s also all over Linked-In, his success rate is amazing!! I believe he’s had 292 clients hired in 2022 and we’re only half way through the year.

Yes, you should learn how to craft a great resume and write well however you still want a document that will help you get through the ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) that are barriers used by HR to only let certain resumes through their job portals. There are specific words and phrases that professional resume writers know how to use to successfully get you an interview. Yes, you’ll pay good money for a resume but spending $400 on a resume when your Return on Investment (ROI) is a $80,000 to $90,000+ salary increase, after you land that job, you’ve basically made the money that you spent on the resume writing service back in one paycheck. 🤯

This is my thought process too, I paid someone to write it and the results were infinitely better than what I had come up with my own! It's definitely money well spent

www.GentleMenBosses.org. They have a quick turn around for resume/cover letter writing and even help with mock interviews. Resume edits are the most affordable price I’ve ever seen compared to most companies. Mines was only $25. Check them out

With that business name you're going to scare away half of the people in this bowl

Opinions are welcomed 😊

I can look at it! Got 4 offers for next summer and review student resumes from colleges all over the US (website coming soon lol)

Me!!! I run a small resume review/writing biz. I’ll do it for free, it’s fun for me lol

And reviewed students all across US (Berkeley, UCSD, Dartmouth, UofA… to name a few)

How do I reply to these comments? I’ve been trying😂

Did u get this one on overleaf

There’s career services for each school at UAlbany; reach out to them about resume help. It’s very useful they walk through each section and give great recommendations for format and content. I met with 2 advisors to get lots of feedback/ different pov and I got multiple interviews after meeting with them. It’s free for all students!

Can someone list the websites we can use to fix our resumes ..?

Thank you !

Can anyone suggest interview questions for angular developer exp 2 years

I was part of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
The HR relationship manager was Deepa Vishwanathan. I resigned in May two years back and last working day was in Aug after serving three months notice.
However, due to error on human resource part they updated record as last working date in May. So whenever I was applying for any position there was mismatch in last working day mentioned in my resume and in human resource records with Kotak. Does it have impact on my profile not getting shortlisted?

Need resume advice. I got tech lead at just 4yoe by filling a vacuum for ML ops on a team of ad hoc DS's. Have numbers to back my work up, but feel like lead this early in my career (at big tech) is too unbelievable. Recruiters like my resume for hitting all the buzzwords and then some, but I'm not getting great traction after they fwd it to HMs. Should I intentionally undersell myself, or leave my lead stuff on there?

*Rn have to prioritize getting an offer fast, not title or TC, unfortunately
