Anyone out there combining finances (at least for shared expenses like rent, groceries, vet bills, etc) after marriage? Trying to find the best way to do this when my credit card bill will contain both shared and individual expenses. Also please share if anyone knows what the best offers are at the moment for opening a checking account! I know some places have been offering $200 or $300 to open an account with them. Thanks all!
Traveling to Morocco in August with the fam. Wife and I are vaccinated but the kids aren’t. All under 10. I have been having second thoughts based on the delta variant. Is this a dumb thing for me to do and just reschedule for later? 2 weeks out now and I haven’t cancelled anything yet, we had a brutal summer so really want to get out.
Pre-covid times, how did the frequent travel for consulting affect marriages and kids? Did anyone’s spouse want them to leave consulting? What did you do?
I’m so confused about if business travel is really going to be frequent this fall due to the COVID cases rising….
Any thoughts/insights on how the travel aspect would play out in PwC's Salesforce practice in the post COVID world? Will they want us to be on the road 4 days a week or it will be much more hybrid? If it's the latter, how much % of travel should someone working at PwC's Salesforce practice expect?
I have $700 personal ecredit on delta to use because I cancelled a flight. Can you help me with a few questions please: 1) if I use it to by a $200 flight, do I lose the other $500? 2) is it route locked or can be on any delta flight? 3) I’m assuming it’s locked to me only.
Hey team need some help - I’ve flown United since I was a child, and naturally I’ve flown with them through and through my consulting career. I just flew on Delta for the first time and it was so much nicer than what I’ve been used to. What’s loyalty like here at Delta - and is it worth status matching and becoming Delta loyal? NYC based if that makes any difference. TIA!!
travel day = charge day

Very specific question - Canadian and European spouse travelling to Canada from Europe. However, spouse’s ETA not approved. Embassy told us all we need is proof of marriage and my citizenship (CDN passport) to travel. Asked embassy about ETA and they said “we don’t have an answer you should be fine”. Anyone with experience dealing with this during COVID? Should we try and fly?

When applying to my next employer, do they need to know/do they find out that I was on short term disability at one point while at my current employer? I fear this would ding me as they would view me as a potential risk.

Baby sitting friend’s 5 year old and today she has 99 fever. She is going to see a friend on Saturday and told me she will get a COVID test before that. In her words, ‘I am going to get tested because if I have COVID I can pass it to my friend and the friend will meet so many people and she can pass into them and then all those people will meet other people and spread to them and then COVID will spread everywhere.’ I don’t know where little lady learnt it from but this was impressive.

What kinds of extracurriculars "count" for admissions? For example, I'm a serious musician and play in competitions and gigs; I also have some leadership experience from college that was pretty extensive (used it for all my job interviews) but hasn't continued since then. Also, how many activities do they usually ask for? Just trying to get a sense of how/if I should adjust my activities to be more "application-ready".
