wfh foreva! I’d like the choice of coming in as and when I feel like it, or when a specific meeting that absolutely cannot be effective over the phone requires me to come in e.g. white boarding session
Yes please share!
I pretty much never work locally. I have zero desire to go back to weekly travel. Occasional travel to meet with clients and teams would be nice. I’d like it to be more about building team and client relationships than doing day-to-day work in an office. I’m not sure when I’ll feel safe going to an office though
P1 - great idea and strategy. I believe the team will appreciate it and these steps go a long way with the team. My only comment is I would not take away their budget if they don’t use it the first time as the client might not have time or due to meetings or other reasons the team member is not able to take out a client./ or client can’t join.
I’ll go to the office on wednesdays. That’s it
I am back at the office and love it. Feels like life is back to normal.
I'm torn. I want to go back to traveling again but I can't stomach sitting in a client conference room for 11 hours straight anymore. I've gotten too used to actually taking breaks and getting up and moving periodically. Need to take a 10-min non-work phonecall? WFH - No problem! But if I were sitting in a conference room with a team you'd get dirty looks for even bringing your phone out to check messages.
I’m in NO rush to go back to the office!! And covid proves that productivity is achievable with WFH
Would prefer options and flexibility is key. Ideally In the office once or twice a week but not required. I’m based in NYC but my team is global and audio calls/VC were majority of my meetings pre-COVID. I actually feel like us all being home on our own screen gives people a more equal chance to speak. I also don’t want to have to feel like I’m asking for a favor if i need to WFH a full week or two.
It’s not about either or. It is about having the option. It is about abolish stupid 8 hrs mandatory IN the office
I cannot wait to be back in the office (for def no more than 3-4 days a week), nothing beats face to face interaction with people!
I love WFH, I actually get more done because I am able to work instead of spending 4 hours a day traveling to and from the office
I don’t want to go back to the office or client site unless it’s once in a while. WFH is a lot more fun and manageable and stress free for me
i want to travel / meet people :) zoom just hasn’t been the same, esp for new joiners. the connections you make over zoom just feel different, but maybe that’s just me

There’s no reason the domestic situation shouldn’t be 2019-ish by summer, other than changed preferences.
The ‘new normal’ can die in a fire.
I’ll never step foot in an office again
No. Remote suits me fine.
I much prefer it, as long as I don't also have to virtually teach my kids!
I’d just like to be able to live outside commutable distance of my base office, so if that rule could change it’d be great. WFH or travel (even up to 100%) but I have little reason to go to that office anymore so don’t want to be required to live there
It is so stupid. I think they do this so they can sell people to clients as being “local”, especially in the NGM. The truth is that most “local” projects I’ve been on (and seen others on) aren’t even in the cities where they are requiring us to be based in, which makes commuting TERRIBLE. I’ve seen this countless times over the last couple of years.
No desire to go back to the office. I can get all the work I need to get done from home. We’ve had a year to do the WFH, guess what it not only works, workers are more productive bc of it! I’d be happy if I never had to set foot in an office or at client site if possible.
I realized that I want a job where I can work from home full time after having this experience. Saves me the 1-1.5hr drive each way got the office.
Do not ever want to travel weekly ever againnnnn
wfh has been the best for my career. I'm actually able to work with less distribution and honestly wasn't too keen on getting dressed up for clients daily.
I never want to go back to the office
Maybe like once a week 🙃
