I’ve heard not getting video is like statistically the #1 biggest post-wedding regret
I would suggest splurging on the wedding video.
Didn't get one and have no regrets. Tons of people took their own videos and i don't even watch that. Tbh i wish i had spent less on photos too. Never look at them and only have one up in our house.
I didn't want one, but future mother in law decided we had to have one and bought some ridiculously expensive video package. Genuinely not interested in my wedding being a film project. That being said, I've enjoyed seeing my parents' video to see family when they were young, but that was just my uncle holding a VCR. You'll want some things recorded, but if you don't care for the full cinematic experience look for something barebones. Maybe a college student with a photography itch, that kind of thing. That's the route I would have gone if it weren't for the MIL.
I’m not getting videography coverage but planning to ask guests to send me whatever diy videos they take of the day, I don’t anticipate wanting to rewatch the day, but I would love to have a collection of other peoples perspectives
Have you looked into Wedit?
Yes I watched it many times.
