Does anyone do real estate on the side? Is this something I can feasibly do part time? How much do you earn?

I’m 25 and my offer for a house just got accepted. And nothings official yet so don’t want to tell family/friends so sharing it here. I’m so excited!! And nervous. What should I expect as a first time home buyer?

General tax filing questions - I am filing two state returns, one resident and one nonresident (was working remotely in the nonresident state for a bit over a month). My tax filing software has me getting a refund of the nonresident state income tax I paid and no change to my resident state income tax return. Does that seem right? I would expect a credit on my resident state return and no change to my nonresident state return but admittedly not my area of expertise at all
