Does anyone else experience imposter syndrome? I'm at the point in my career where I want to take the next step but I don't feel like my design skills would measure up.

I do! Most days actually esp since I started a job two weeks ago that is more senior than my last role. I feel like everyone thinks I can do so much but I am unfo not believing in my own capabilities and as a result have been majorly stressing! I’m now thinking of this as a “stretch” exercise and an opportunity for me to learn and hone new skills! If you don’t take the leap you won’t ever learn and grow!

It's normal to feel that. You should always feel that as long as you care about doing your work well.

You should be worried the moment you think you are great. That would mean you stop paying attention to the rest of world outside your bubble and that is absolutely worse.

I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?

I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

Is anyone here willing to provide insight about job prospects between the two fields?

Or any other advice?

Tired of my pharmacy. Every single month I have to call the pharmacy for my Adderall, they say they don’t have any prescriptions for me, they ask for additional information, they magically find it, and then I have to wait like 1 to 8 hours to have it filled. It’s a pointless phone call. Why do I have to repeat these shenanigans every month?! Is it just Rite Aid? Is CVS any better? So irritating.

UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!
