Yes
Yep. What should we do?
Glad I am not alone. Not sure if you all take mental health breaks.
Yes. 100%. Taking a walk once a day really helps. But yeah, not sure how much longer I can do this in a silo
Yeah it’s not like “we’re all work from home” - I think “we’re all sleeping at work” captures why we’re so burned out a bit better
This is precisely how I felt during busy season. It’s easier now that I’m not basically going bed-work-bed but still really dreading work every day.
I'm realizing that I just shut down at home and there are no reprucssions unless I miss a deadline. I'm constantly in this rat race to keep my mental health in check and also performing the best work.
I know that feeling. I always am trying to juggle both worlds (And my personal life). It can be stressful and sometimes I do take a "lunch break" and work out/go for a walk/ do something outside of work/take a quick power nap. I even started doing therapy, but that does not seem to be helping too much.
Burned out in general, yes. I hear it is pretty common these days.
What I did is have a schedule when I am logging in and out. I take lunch breaks too. For me not to exceed my logoff time, I schedule something that I need to do such as do yoga, walk or watch my favorite show. In the morning I walk and listen to my favorite podcast. That is kinda my time commuting to work. That way I just dont work all the time that I end up working more time than when I was in the office.
