I have 3 companies offer 1. Sincro Digital 30LPA(All fixed) 2. Broadridge 32 LPA(12% fixed bonus) 3. TCS 31 LPA( 5L is variable) YOE : 9 Tech Stack : Asp.net, C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Sql Server, Web API, entity framework. Which one can I join any suggestions ? Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. Tata Consultancy Sincro Which one would be better in terms of hike, work life balance, employee culture
Could also be location, I'd imagine Bay area cost of living skews comp.
I think Google pays way better than other FAANG. I know people who are junior-ish at FAAN and they do not make 300k salary; not even close.

I don’t know if many posts are actually saying their comp is $500k excluding equity. What you’re seeing is total comp numbers, and those are numbers that can definitely be hit by a lot of lawyers (not just leadership) in big tech. A lot of these companies use company-wide levels. Levels come with it salary ranges, certain bonus %, and equity ranges. Lawyers get a leg up in the system, generally, because they usually are hired on at a more senior (manager/senior manager) level. Once they hit the director/agc/etc levels, that total comp is easily $450-$550k/yr, excluding stock appreciation. VP and higher levels can easily hit $1m+. I would expect for someone with 4-5 YOE to be hired around $275-$350 total comp per year at these companies.

I agree that baby tech doesn’t pay the same, but I’m not talking about them and I’m not necessarily talking about FAANG. I work at a tech company that isn’t FAANG and I make this type of pay.
Haven’t really seen many numbers here, but just got an offer for 180k base, 30k per year RSU, and no bonus. Tech company in TX, 5 YOE. Not sure if that is good, bad, or normal.
Appreciate your advice :)
For sure. Typical General Counsel bases are $300k - $400K. People 3-6 years out saying they are at $200K+ think they’re pulling one over on you.

Lol I wish. Total comp my first year was about $330K. Now I’m above $600K though, partly due to stock appreciation.
