Scheduling and forcing myself out of the house to the gym and to do things anyway. You can also try getting a Brick blocker for your phone to stop the doomscrolling so you do other things instead

Put your personal things in your calendar so you’re committing to them too. If it’s it the calendar you’re more likely to do it. Like; go to the gym, get dinner with your friend, call your Mom, visit the bookstore, do a class etc. Whatever you want to accomplish, make a time with yourself and stick to it. Then, if you’re still exhausted, it’ll be for a good reason.
I feel this in my bones. I think it's not even boundaries as much as it is finding something else that fills the void left by the 9-5.... I wish I knew.

You know that feeling you get when you've given your notice, or are just about to give notice, and you stop caring so much and just do your job? Learn to harness that feeling more. That feeling usually comes from a lack of fear and I have found I actually do even better work, in less time, with less rumination at the end of the day. But you have to be prepared to not be perfect.
Yes. But it steals back too
I literally log off at the same time each day, as per my contract, and silence all notifications on Teams, Slack, and Outlook. I try get out and go for a walk or just take a break from screens. The most valuable asset you can’t buy back is time. I used to do the same when I worked for a social agency and the weeks would disappear, you kinda just have to force yourself to do it or else you won’t break the cycle.
