What’s your guid I got plenty of stuff you can work on
Well if you’re just blankly staring at your laptop when you don’t have anything to do, yeah that sucks. If I don’t have anything to do I’ll just make sure I have my phone on me and go outside, work out, run errands, etc.
I’m the same! Just so distracted when the work is slow and don’t feel like working at that time.
I do
Definitely can relate. Personally it's worse for me when things are slow because I think about the other things I could be doing, like trainings or other things that could set me up for success, but due to lack of motivation I just don't do them, so then later I feel guilty for "wasting" this time.
In my current role in industry, work is pretty slow for about 50-70% of the month. It gets boring at times but the benefit of working from home is being able to study for the CPA when the going is truly slow, or being able to watch YouTube or similar activities without needing to hide it for fear of looking like a slacker. You can definitely use your time wisely for researching other functions of your job, too. All that said, I’m a staff accountant at my company so I’m not quite to the level where I have a lot more responsibility.
