This is always the case, since smaller clients generally need more hand holding than larger clients. Its also why a lot of bigger firms won't work with individuals at all.
My practice is split between large corporate and startups. Working with startups is more fun, but more work. I also find it more rewarding. For corporate clients, we coordinate with in house counsel basically as colleagues, which makes things a lot easier, but more monotonous.

I was molested by a girl. I told this to a couple of friends and I became a subject of mockery - "You aren't man enough", "Damn a girl came onto you? Lucky", "I don't believe you - that girl's way out of your league"

Is molestation gender specific?

PS - not related to ZS. Just an incident that happened some years ago in college, but still haunts me probably because I could never speak up. I was judged/hushed whenever I tried.

I am a 25-year-old first year associate fresh out of law school at a small civil litigation firm. I went to a good law school and work hard. I’ve been in this position for about 5 months now and I keep messing up. Losing track of tasks. I have never felt dumber. Any advice? Should I be doing better at this point? I’m a licensed attorney!! Is this normal?

My firm has always had weekly meetings, and they are now held on zoom since we started working from home. Is it terrible to have my video off? I’m a junior, and I think it probably looks good to have it on, but it is the last thing I want to do at 8am on Mondays.

I’ve accepted an offer for a non-partner track counsel position at an Amlaw 200 firm. Salary of 300k, expectation of 1800 billable hours. Fully remote. I’ve worked at top regional firms during my 10+ year career. I’m leaving a small book and a solid shot at partner in 3-5 years for the risks of permanent counsel and unknown biglaw bs. Wife and I are prioritizing things other than careers with this move. She’s also able to go fully remote. I’m scared but also excited. Am I crazy?

Transactional Associates (biglaw): At what point should the more admin tasks be taken off your plate?
