At what point do you begin to feel numb (if ever) when you’re done trial and prepping for another trial in a span of 3 months, while mains full caseload of other active litigation cases? Should I be worried that I’m going from engaged and stress to numb and slightly indifferent? Or is this what it feels like to power through? I can’t gauge it anymore? And can’t impose judgment one way or another either.

Writing sample question. I drafted a really complex dispositive motion that was granted. It was obviously revised by the partners on the case but can I still use it as a sample?

Obviously I would redact or change client/identifying information. It was publicly filed and is available on the public docket. I am not one of the attorneys of record.

Curious what people have done in the past. I'm interested in lateral positions so can't exactly ask the partners I work with.

Any tips on negotiating with multiple adverse parties? I represent the plaintiffs. Multiple defendants with varying degrees of liability. Mediation unsuccessful because they’re all arguing over who owes what. Now I’m back negotiating with all of them individually and all have expressed interest in settling.
