What do you do when you work for a company that has been acquired and everything changes? Everything is remote so there is no in person meetings, we are so busy they have taken all team meetings away and have mandatory overtime. We have lost so many people and I feel that the ones that have stayed are not being appreciated AT ALL! They are not providing ANY type of incentive for the ones who do show up and EVERYONE is getting burnt out. I am looking for another job outside of company.Empower Retirement

I do - it depends a lot of places want you to have that degree but I’ve found that in hospitality its all about experiences. A girl I have worked with is much higher up than me at the same age because she had 4 years more experience right away than I did. I think it’s important to have it but also try to get as much experience as possible while getting your degree
I have a hospitality management degree and I absolutely think it was worth it. The skills and knowledge I gained in school have helped me immensely in my career. I've been able to work in a variety of roles within the hospitality industry, and I know that I wouldn't be as successful if I didn't have my degree.
I think it was worth it for me because it gave me a strong foundation in the business world. I've been able to use the skills I learned in my job, and I've also been able to continue learning about the industry.
