Best tacos in San Antonio?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

How do you deal with extremely nosy coworkers?
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

It’s a good learning opportunity. Now you know what a bad career decision looks like. Lol.

I don't think TCJA is to blame. Rather, in that time period, your level of experience and responsibility has increased and you feel the burden getting heavier.
That’s definitely a part of it. But the complexity and uncertainty of things after TCJA definitely added to the workload.
I can't keep doing this anymore.
Yes- just when you thought you had a handle on TCJA, the CARES act comes along and adds even more work. The 7/15 deadline extension last year didn’t help with the workload either.
Literally just going to get worse as we approach the phasing out process of the TCJA, right?
