Mostly when I hate myself for waiting til the end of the month to finalize and release my time… like this past month ughhhh
Yep I’m so burned out from entering my time that I’m starting off the month already behind
I do my time as I go
I kinda just go off a combination of vibes and thoughts and prayers 🤷♀️ Every month I tell myself to do better for those exact reasons, but I haven't yet.
I do it daily. Never understood how you can remember stuff you did a week ago. I don't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. I guess people just make shit up??
Coach
I need a day to recover after any productive day
Alot of firms mandate you release weekly or else no bonuses.
I generally do my prior days billing first thing in the morning. It is my way of activating my brain for the day. And to answer the original post, when I let my billing slide and had to do a few weeks at once, oh, mental exhaustion!
I definitely felt this. Got sick of it so have been forcing myself to do it daily. Much easier in the long run
My firm requires us to release time weekly. I record my time as I go but I don’t release until the end of the week. I have to clean up entries and choose the right codes. It’s such a pain to do and takes me a couple of hours every Sunday 🫠🫠
Time recorded daily as I go along, best way to keep track, and released COB. But I might not get the billing code right every time. If the narrative is good enough it shouldn't matter. As for actual billing end of every month, always a hiatus after that.
Definitely the case for me!!
Oh boy, bill contemporaneously. Save yourself 12 terrible days a year, at least.
