Why are companies not more transparent about salaries? It should be required to list the salary range in a posting. I’m tired of applying to jobs only to find out the salary is way less than I’m willing to accept. This needs to change. Stop wasting applicants time and start including the salary range in job postings!!! Rant over.

Would a front office Chief of Staff (7YOE) in IBD make more than a back office CoS? I found a role that looks great but not sure if it’s worth the added hours/pressure if the money and bonus will be the same as in back office tech. Looking for some advice on landing a mid-level REMOTE role. I am getting paid 55k a year and I can’t even pay rent and car expenses for this salary. How much do you get paid for this equivalent experience? Mechanical engineering grad, joined a medical device startup that I had done co-ops at. 8mo into full-time, pivoted from engineering into more of an operations role doing new product introduction (NPI), now with 3 direct reports.

The combination of startup+medical device+NPI seems very unique and I'm struggling to find salary comparables. Currently making 75k but it feels very low given my new responsibility and impact. Any advice?

The work-life balance sucked this year as everyone is forcing to go back to offices. I'm really contemplating on going freelance but I've not heard many freelancing Project Managers, is this rare? Is this a niche, do I need to have a portfolio of clients? (Looking to avoid work drama and seeing if it's worth it before calling on stress leave?)
