Stay safe! Be kind and help each-other out
I don’t have any specific answers for you but I think it’s important to realize that intelligent, self aware people will always have moments of questioning their purpose and the point of it all.
If it’s a prolonged feeling then I suggest mapping out moments when you’ve felt passionate at work to identify the underlying reasons behind the happiness. This will help identify what truly gets you motivated
Oh and to answer your question explicitly, I haven’t found mine. But I have a lot of diverse interests so I view it as a journey not a destination
Take some time out and find out what you want to do. Life passes by too quickly to be stuck in a boring job. Money doesn’t always equate to purpose in life.
hah i sometimes have similar feelings, want to study all over and become a vet
Count me in for an MD
I suggest taking a long relaxing vacation before you make any big decisions
I felt the same for awhile about being a teacher. I honestly don’t loOooOove kids, but I love learning and education and economics. I started being a tutor at a local high school for free (pre-covid several years ago). It’s really given me meaning to help shape their lives. I’ve been fortunate to see their academic, athletic, and personal lives blossom. I’ve tried to instill in them the importance of a bank account and etc. helping the next generation have a better grasp on economic equality gets me out of bed faster than any work I do day to day. I hear you. Hang in OP! Something will get you excited — for me, it’s realizing my career affords me the opportunity to do the things that ignite my personal passions.
You’ll love industry. It’s way more fun than consulting.

Mostly just to have a tactical skill that can provide real value to people, and to be actively working in industry and see a path to important roles as a clinician leader rather than feeling like a rando consultant always trying to make a sale....

Learn to enjoy the little things and not overly focus on “what am I doing with my life.” Good books, nature, kids if you want them, cooking, and of course, wine
Hey! Same boat here! 30, ~5 years from partner (🤞🏼), awesome marriage, house, dog...also work in healthcare...also feel stuck/lost sometimes. No advice, just empathy.
