Yes! All of the big4 have great maternity benefits but ultimately it will be up to you to set boundaries wherever you are. If you are a high performer, your firm should find a way to make whatever it is that you need work. I’ve seen lots of good examples of this at EY
🙋🏻♀️ work life balance is a constant struggle, but I think ZS offers a pretty optimal scenario for women who want to stay client facing, avoid travel, and still continue with their career progression.
Congrats! But sorry you’re not feeling supported. Are you in healthcare? I’d talk with your coach about your concerns (obviously whenever you’re comfortable sharing the news). There are some very supportive working moms at Huron who have helped to pave a path but it’s definitely still a work in progress.
Also please put concerns about maternity benefits in engagement surveys and such. There’s a group of us pushing for better benefits and it helps the more people are vocal about the need for better leave.
Anyone at Guidehouse willing to share their experience with my fiancé? He just graduated with his MPA and is interested in exploring state/local gov consulting (maybe federal, too). Would really appreciate it!
