We’ve only done water in sippy cups so far, so we’ve generally let him take them with him around the house or leave them out on the table. Thinking we need something distinct for milk so everyone knows it needs to be drunk quickly and cleaned immediately. I’m not a milk drinker myself, so I’m a little weirded out by the possibility of rancid milk.

How do I request vacation time as a junior associate? I’m hoping to go on a 7-10 day vacation at the end of August

Just started a few weeks ago. Is it weird if the people you work with don’t ask you anything about yourself or are generally aloof? Several of the people in my group don’t even get my name right. I get I’m brand new, but I just find that odd. Even when I worked in fast food people called me by my right name. When the group has had lunches, they mostly talk about affluent topics i.e. Rolex collections, test driving teslas, expensive sneakers/restaurants, etc. Is this typical of big law?

As we head into a new month (with more billable hour targets to hit) just wanted to encourage y’all to keep pushing and stay strong, you got this! Unfortunately, because we work with so many other type A personalities, we don’t always hear about when we’re each having a tough time making it through the day/week/month.
