Does anyone have a aPHR? Is it worth it? If you do have one, dos you pay for any of the prep classes and how long did it take you to study for it? Do you have any suggestions/recommendations for good certifications/ free to low cost classes for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion worker?

I’m currently in PA working in tax compliance (PE/Hedge) and considering my options. When I spoke with a recruiter seems like there is not a lot of “interesting” tax opportunities in industry that really stuck out to me. I've always wanted to get into IB (prestige, money, you name it), however now that I'm in a more laid back environment (better WLB, "easier work") it doesn't seem as attractive as before and the pay is quite good for an analyst level (I think the pay is competitive even comparing with IB's pay in my country) . Working as a Senior Accountant at Vanguard with my CPA; 3 YOE, Greater Philadelphia area. Took this job to give accounting one more try and while I don’t regret it I’m bored. My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Boss has WFH for 9months. I have been WFH for 2-weeks for travel quarantine/state guidelines. She now requires that I go back to the office to “show face” that HR is right alongside the essential employees. I have been more productive from home vs the office. I get the perspective of team unity, but is it wrong to feel there is no reason to risk my health? The company justifies increasing my covid risk (high-risk already) to “show face”, when my job is being fulfilled while WFH. Am I crazy?
