Been on several TAS FDD interviews so far. I’ve had some interviewers say travel would be at 70%+ and others say it’d be 10-20%. Another aspect was the length of each deal I’ve had some be 2-3 weeks and others be 2-4 months on each deal. Seems like a huge range, why is that? I’ve mainly been talking to mid market firms.

Went through my second round of interview with one of the Big 4’s but haven’t heard back. It has been 9 days now. Is it ok to reach out to the recruiter?

I always thought it was strange that agencies rarely let candidates know the client until they are towards the end of the process. My position has way more job security than others simply because I work for a CPG client. Those in the same role on other accounts (e.g. airlines, hotels, fitness) have been furloughed or even laid off just because of the nature of the industry their client is in. Do we think agencies will have to be more transparent and let candidates ultimately chose the client?

Book recommendations? Fiction and non-fiction. Not into cheap thrillers. Looking for something that elicits soul searching and introspection.
