Is $5800 for two people in Premium Economy crazy for JFK-Venice in July? Air France and Alitalia - one stop. Obvi it’s expensive, but is it reasonable for the time and class?
Been on several TAS FDD interviews so far. I’ve had some interviewers say travel would be at 70%+ and others say it’d be 10-20%. Another aspect was the length of each deal I’ve had some be 2-3 weeks and others be 2-4 months on each deal. Seems like a huge range, why is that? I’ve mainly been talking to mid market firms.
Went through my second round of interview with one of the Big 4’s but haven’t heard back. It has been 9 days now. Is it ok to reach out to the recruiter?
Do you think it is quite possible to get fired by asking too many questions as an experienced senior 1? If so, i might get fired after this busy season.

I have 3 offers currently. 1 is a small startup with 50 employees in Chicago, another is MTX Group, and the 3rd is Accenture Federal. Each is offering good pay. I want to do a top 10 MBA (cont'd)
Any MBA students/alum of top programs with horror stories of not having an internship? I'm getting nervous! 😔
I have to say that when I started as an analyst, I thought I was going to hate working in healthcare. Now I love it. So many ways for us to *actually* impact people's lives.
How can I earn a bazillion babillion dollars so I can FIRE and not have to worry about working? Older friend got laid off. Contd...
I always thought it was strange that agencies rarely let candidates know the client until they are towards the end of the process. My position has way more job security than others simply because I work for a CPG client. Those in the same role on other accounts (e.g. airlines, hotels, fitness) have been furloughed or even laid off just because of the nature of the industry their client is in. Do we think agencies will have to be more transparent and let candidates ultimately chose the client?
Book recommendations? Fiction and non-fiction. Not into cheap thrillers. Looking for something that elicits soul searching and introspection.
