Does anyone have a go-to site they use to see which companies offer what benefits for job search? Like a centralized directory? Haven't found one and I'm thinking of creating this as a side project

Just venting here… At WAS for an adjustment interview based on an affirmative asylum and the officer said he’s never done and affirmative adjustment before… and questioned my client when he said that he has never been in proceedings. Officer said “I don’t agree with that, I think you *have* been in proceedings” when we submitted the affirmative asylum approval and I had to show that to him smh. Why aren’t they training these officers 😭

Do other shops fight for good insight and strategy at the beginning of a project? Or does strategy get shoehorned at the front of the desk to support the best creative idea? Asking for a friend.

Currently work at a 2 person firm (me & owner/partner). Don’t make much but lots of freedom and flexibility. ~$250k in loans current IBR paying $0. Interviewed at local legal aid & was offered job $17k more plus 401k benefits & of course loan forgiveness. Two days after that offer my boss tells me he wants me to become partner. Firm is kind of poorly managed and he wants me to help make it better. Having a hard time deciding. Should I put all my eggs in the PSLF basket or become partner?

One is a direct competitor of my current employer (offer still in negotiation) , the other isn’t (offer already accepted). As I have a long notice period (4 months) I’ve already resigned and said that I’m joining a competitor as chances are high. They now have decided to send me on garden leave.
