Does anyone have a good recommendation for a walk-on song for preschool? I'd like to choose one or two that we could hopefully play every day for the rest of the school year.
Anyone make the move from SAP projects to more MBB / strategy / mgmt world? Looking for advice on what relevant skills are, job and responsibility differences, etc
Fiancé is ranting about work...the amount of inefficiency and incompetence in other industries astounds me. How these people haven't been fired is beyond me. They wouldn't last a day in consulting
I’ve got a bachelor’s in Economics (4.0 bby) but I’ve been stuck in PMO roles the last few years. I feel like I was dumb for not doing something more STEM related like computer science during undergrad. Seems like there’s no Econ jobs that don’t also require comp sci knowledge. Maybe I just don’t know how to market myself with an Econ only degree? Feels like I need at least a masters to do anything with Econ without the comp sci part. Should I just learn a programming language lol
What are you favorite ways to ask about culture / work-life balance in an interview setting? Interviewing with a small, high performing team and want to ask without being too direct
Pursuing an opportunity at a unicorn in the Valley and wondering how much the equity component is as a percentage of overall comp. Cash comp represents a significant pay cut over what I make now.
I’m struggling with feelings of inadequacy because of how quick my boss is to point out minor flaws (that aren’t frequent) but never says thank you or points out where I’m excelling.
First time mom here - does maternity leave count toward total years of work? Also, how does it (or does it?) show up on background checks when looking at years worked at a place?
Plan/hope to be enrolled in 2023 Harvard, currently working for T2 strategy consulting. Any thoughts for preparation? Should I move to MBB for a better chance?
ACN 🐠 Anyone know if someone who left the firm between 9/1 and 12/1 and still received a bonus? If you read the policy, it states that you're technically still eligible... seems strange
My co has unlimited PTO. I took time off this summer and taking time in the fall, 7-8 days each. A younger coworker keeps talking about them in mtgs. Do I tell him to back off or just ignore him?
Offer Evaluation: 1. Stay: wait for a few months to get a title raise to AD (with no 💸) 2. Leave: take a Director offer on the client side (with 60k more 💸), but it’s not your dream job/Industry
BCG 🐠: Anyone have insight into what salary expectations would be for an internal facing manager (more aligned to Knowledge & Analytics group) out of the Chicago office?
For those jumping to corporate strategy, what comp ranges are you seeing for associate level positions for someone with 3-4 years in mgmt consulting, pre-MBA? Glassdoor ranges are too wide here
Broke up with my gf and started a new project recently. Any tips for handling stress? This is harder than I imagined...
