Does anyone have a google sheets template or layout that they love for headcount + new hire tracking? I’m trying to make a clean, easy to follow spreadsheet for all open requisitions, filled roles, and all the tasks involved with onboarding a new employee. It feels a bit messy so any tips or suggestions for cleaning it up would be great. Thanks!

I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

Is there any resources someone can point me to about the potential legal issues and more information from an HR perspective about contingent employees (temps, contract workers, part-time workers) versus normal FTE’s?

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. I am tasked with revamping our recruitment process to be OFCCP compliant. We have a large warehouse and hire temp-to-perm using mostly outside temp agencies. I will have next week the second interview with an exec recruiter for a company for a Director level position reporting to the COO of the company. In addition to having relevant experience and accomplishments handy, I would appreciate any pointers for having a good interview at this level.

I recently went through trainer certification and I received some really confusing feedback. During certification we were told that in order to meet intent we should stick to the leader guide notes and we will be fine. I did this to a T and it was noted that I did, however the feedback that I received was that I should have created another unspecified unscheduled activity and had my learners visit an info page that was not referenced in the learning module or the leader guide notes. I’m lost.

I have my MSHRM; which I got before I started working in HR, and a PHR but with this new HRM role I'm thinking of getting an HR Certification in Strategic Management. It is very costly. Has anyone taken any of these Certification programs? Is it worth it?
