Does anyone have a name for what I'm looking for? Essentially, I'm looking for a resource to give to clients that really need to assess their current benefits and pay structure (and pay equity) in comparison to other organizations in the market and to provide the results and a roadmap of how to get where they need to be in order to retain and attract talent. Something like an HR Turnaround Consultant but I'm sure there is a better name?

Apologies for this but I’m really confused and looking for some help. My wife and I make about 400k pre-tax (gross income). We max our 401k. Is backdoor Roth an option for us? How should we go about it. Any tips would be super helpful as I’ve read through some prior posts but it isn’t still very clear to me. Thanks!!

Tip for young ones looking to go to BSchool. Put all your money in traditional 401k. Then when you go to bschool, and have zero wages for that year (maybe the internship), convert to Roth with very low income tax. Tax arbitrage right there! 💸💸💸

Last year I started a Roth IRA. However this year because of starting a new job I will be over the income limit and planned to do a backdoor Roth IRA. I also wanted to rollover my previous 401k funds into an IRA. Would the rollover funds be a part of the limit for the backdoor Roth? Should I open a separate Roth account for the rollover funds apart from the backdoor? I haven’t been able to find a clear answer online yet and would appreciate any insights!

I had a company offer me a position under the original range and after I’ve turned down the role multiple times they have come back with an offer with a better title and $30k more. This huge shift put a bad taste in my mouth, but wasn’t sure if I was begin too critical because I wouldn’t operate that way as a recruiter.

I’m an HR Mgr, and need help approaching my HRC about her demeanor at work. She lost her father last fall, and since returning to work, she’s become incredibly delicate. Often cries at work, staff are hesitant to approach her; it’s like walking on eggshells constantly with her. She does her job well, she takes directions well, but there is no real initiative with projects/tasks and I NEED a strong no.2 - I feel like I’m constantly coaching her and trying to support her, but I’m tired 😣
