I listened to Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell and was pleasantly surprised at how useful it was to me as an auditor. It speaks to how well we understand others and how our bias affects our perception. In Malcolm Gladwell fashion it's all done through very good telling of actual events, none of which is related to business or accounting:)

6 months back I got a proposal where the guy was ok. He is having a elder sister who is married but very bossy (to his husband and the whole family actually). His mom only listens to her. The guy is neutral to everybody ( that's strange). Now due to some 3rd person, we had some dispute, nothing from our end but they spoke to my father very rudely. His sister's husband and his mother said we have so many proposal in hand. If u don't want to give ur girl don't give n all.

First year associates,

Using the following won’t get you fired:

“Sorry, I’m at capacity.”

There’s a point where it’s irresponsible to NOT say it because you’re liable to start dropping the ball and negatively impacting clients, or at least producing work product that takes forever to fix.
