I became a 2 year lawyer in September. I started working at my firm, a mid-sized firm practicing commercial business litigation and PI, in March of 2020. Last year I made the firm $180k from my billable hours and I was paid $85k + full health and other benefits.

This year, I'm on track to make about $150k and to make the firm about $450k from my billable hours and PI cases that I originated and settled.

Hate: getting assigned bulks from others and it throws off efficiency of reviewing suits, monotony, depositions

Looking for some feed back on Sedgwick. How is the pay for a senior claim specialist? Health Insurance ? Opportunity for advancement? Culture? Diversity?

Is there generally a penalty if you give your resignation while you’re out on short term disability or FMLA? My employee handbook doesn’t say anything and HR won’t give me any info. I don’t think that most people they find in the lake went in it willingly. Water makes it too easy to cover up murders. Washes away evidence.
