Not knocking on you. But if you’re saying your English is good and communication isn’t a problem and people are understanding what you’re saying… then what’s the problem?
Some of the smartest people I’ve worked with in consulting got to where they are by their work and not necessarily how they were perceived.
I’m assuming you’re a fellow immigrant too. I’ve never felt accents held people back, or have caused other people to hold them back. As long as you do good work, find sponsors to pull you up for you, you’re golden. There’s better places to invest in. Such as actual upskilling… or the s&p500
Which is fine. Diction, pronunciation, etc. are things that come with time, exposure, and assimilation. Unless it’s truly hindering your work and you feel like language is the one thing holding you back, I’d just treat it as something you naturally own and grow into
And lastly I’d also say there are something’s that can’t be taught, like you’re looking on for social communication, but, just like any muscle in the gym, it can be trained by exposing it to new experiences and exercises to be built up organically rather than force fitting a set of things that are supposed to work for a middle 80% but that 80% may or may not include you.
Happy to chat via DMs. Been coaching people in consulting for a while and happy to share if I can be of help
