Have an approved h1b starting Jan 15 2020. Current f1 expires Jan 15 2020 as well. Is it possible to leave the country in December, get the h1b stamp, and come back on h1b but *before* h1b start date?

A friend who was on H1B did a CoS to B2 to deal with her divorce and health. She’s done and ready to get back to work. If she gets a company willing to transfer her H1B, will she need to leave the country to get the H1B stamp? If the stamp isn’t possible with the latest EO, will she be able to work with just the transferred H1B? Anyone with experience with CoS from B2 to H1B?
Moved house 20 minutes away from the office in the same state and EY Law is saying I need to file a H1B amendment. This seems insane to me, how is this not in the same MSA? Anyone else experienced this before? Can I get an RFE for this amendment? I’m freaking out.
My H1b amendment for an LCA came back with a reduced validity. Anybody have this experience? What do I do? 😞

Currently at EY but going to leave in April. My new employer will apply for my H1B. Should I be telling EY not to apply? The issue is I am not ready to put in my notice yet, given I want to actually finish at the end of April. I’m worried if I tell them not to apply, they might let me go right away?
Anyone got a home loan with a h1b extension in progress? - Mine expires Oct but renewal is in progress. Not sure if bank will allow this.
Deloitte 🐠 - anyone who didn’t get their h1b and transferred to a member firm in another country? What was the process like? Are you happy with your choice?
Folks that file H1B COE with EY recently, how long did it take from submitting to USCIS until the receipt notice got updated to the portal? And how long until you got the online approval notice? I know there have been a few questions like this but trying to see what the process has been like most recently. Thanks EY

Hi consultants! I’m starting very soon in a boutique consultancy in their benchmarking practice. I will be in a very small team because I’m joining a new office location of the firm. From recruiting, I could tell that they have a lot of work in their pipeline and that I will have my hands full right off the bat. Would you have any advice for a newbie? This will be my first full-time role ever and most of my relevant experiences or knowledge comes from my masters or bachelors I would say. Thanks!
Would anyone in the DMV area like to get together to practice case interview prep? I think having a partner would help me stay disciplined.

EY Pros and Cons? Interviewing next week...
I'm looking for a product manager role in a product company. Tech products, FinTech, Health, SCM are preferred domains. YOE: ~8(7y 10m) CTC: 12.6 Expected: 20+ I am working as a product manager in a NBFC, but it's more of a transition role(they call it PMO, but it's not a PMO role. Because I have been part of PMO previously). I want to break into a full-fledged product role. Have worked as a BA/Project Manager earlier. Any referrals would be appreciated. Thanks.
Anyone else feel like they have golden handcuffs? At 7 YOE, I just don't see any other roles that offer over 350k TC for business roles. I'm really grateful for my current role, team and comp, so definitely not a compliant, but feels like I'll be here forever.
I have an upcoming interview with FAANG. I already have another offer. Should I tell my recruiter now, or after I interview?
