Does anyone have advice for an Oliver Wyman case interview? At D, our cases were a lot more implementation based vs pure strategy ones. I really really want this opportunity and am freaking out a bit.

I got an offer and want to accept but have an interview coming up with Mckinsey. Would it be a bad look if I tell the recruiter that I can’t interview? I want to leave this door open so I can reapply in the future. FYI I am not at all prepared for this interview😭

Got ghosted after a final round interview with a unicorn startup. I had a very hands on interview and showed them detailed code examples and architecture diagrams. Maybe I gave away too much? The interviewers seemed really impressed. The cynical thought I have is they're doing interviews just to find answers to the problems they haven't been able to solve. Why else would they ghost me? Everything seemed to be going so well until now.

Never regret for a rejection that happened after you studying for the interview just before a day and couldn't crack it . Never!!

I recently interviewed for a position that was below my salary requirements so the interviewer forwarded me a role that is inline with salary but quite a bit outside of my skill set (and interest, tbh). How do I politely reject the opportunity while keeping the door open to other roles more closely aligned with my career goals/interests?

How do I get taken off a matter I really hate? I’ve been on it for a year and I absolutely hate the team. The culture is toxic and the partners are horrible bullies. My work product has been suffering as a result and I worry about this affecting my reputation/reviews. This is my busiest matter and I’ve tried saying I’m busy on something else but no one is listening. What are the pros and cons of telling the assigning team or the managing partner that I need off for my mental health?
