Does anyone have advice on moving from advertising to consulting? Seeing a lot on here that people with consulting careers are miserable, but still interested lol.

Currently at a small company with start up vibes. Looking for a large company with structured training and growth opportunities and the bigger consulting firms seem to match that ideal.

Have a non-compete so need to exclude marketing roles, but interested and experienced in strategy and analytics. Any advice is appreciated!

All because while she was out I walked on the treadmill and “omitted” telling her that when she came home. I’m currently a workforce Insights analyst & yesterday my manager sat me down and told me he is wanting me to take on short-term & long-term projections (essentially transitioning me into more of a projections analyst position). It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

I'm currently in a BDR role but have been studying for my PSM and getting ready to take that test soon. Does anyone have any advice for how to pivot from sales to being a Scrum Master? It seems everyone wants a SM to have 3 to 5 plus experience to even look at your resume.

Recruiters: if a candidate said something along the lines of “I’m obsessed with this opportunity” (not verbatim but it was that energy) how would you interpret that?
I don’t feel it came off desperate like I need to get this job, but rather in a “I’m really excited about this company and role” kind of way.

I am trying to make a shift in to marketing, specifically in tech. I spent the last seven years in advertising pretty much doing what a standard account person does. I can’t seem to cut down my résumé to one page because every account and client or unique. How can I shorten/make it more relevant so it fits within the marketing descriptions? Desired companies to move are Google, health tech companies, or any tech companies it has of health vertical.

So I have close to 15 years experience in operations/transportation management, which I’m pretty burnt out in, or at least the role I have been in for the last seven-ish years. I’m finishing my degree in operations/project management officially on January 1. Does anyone have any advice on getting companies to notice me, so I can change careers? I have already started submitting my resume to companies, have not received even a single email or phone call back.

Started looking at jobs in private accounting. I scored interviews for a Staff Accountant, Junior Accountant, and Accounting Assistant. I just finished interviewing for the Staff Accountant position which feels very much like AP/AR and Bank Recs to start, similarly to the other two positions. Does the title matter? I want to be able to grow but at the same time I want to make sure I’m moving up positions in my job search so I’m exposed to harder/higher level work.
