I want to do surveys for first day, then at 30/60/90 days

I’ve found week one surveys to be more helpful than day 1 survey because they will have their bearings a bit more by then and you can also ask questions about if they have an onboarding plan or not, they know what the company values are, etc. It’s a good way to get some feedback about managers, and of course you tell managers up front you’ll be collecting it. It incentivizes them to take responsibility for a thorough onboarding, and not just on HR.

Can you share with me the list of questions to ask at one week? Kellie.Manzano@ssi-schaefer.com

What kind of information are you trying to collect from the new hires? How do you plan on getting the surveys in front of the new hires?

I’ve implemented recruiting surveys that are delivered via our ATS. We are currently running two: One focused on the candidate experience while in the recruitment process, the other on the customer (hiring manager) experience. I collect and use the data to strengthen our service levels, and also use the findings in our recruiter reviews. Feel free to reach out if you want more detail or help.

Hello, we would love to get this started as well. What ATS do you use? Would you be willing to share the questions you use with me as well? My email address is rita@acelero.net.

Survey monkey is the free option. If you want to go more in depth wit analytics and your company can’t invest more into surveys, my suggestion would be to look at Culture Amp. It is a great platform for you to easily gather data and they provide how to information on the best way to conduct survey questions.

Thanks

I want to find out how to improve in recruiting, onboarding, and first day experience as well as get a feel for why people like and are working/staying with the company

I was thinking of using surveymonkey or MS forms to do the online surveys

Do you have a list of possible questions for the survey for first day or 30 days on the job?

Need advice - I currently have 2.5-3 YOE (depending if u count internships) and $180 TC. I’ve recognized the pay is pretty high and industry jobs won’t come near it for my amount of experience. If I stay in consulting another ~2 years and get to Manager level by then, would industry firms be more open to hiring me for a $180-200k role? FWIW I’m mostly looking at healthcare non-pharma.

For those willing or bold enough to share: For EOY reporting are you bench marking against 2020 or 2019 or both? What about for projecting 2022? I’m torn looking at 2020 as an outlier or including both years to be more objective? We had a good year this year and it compares fine next to 2020 numbers. My thinking here is events impact our lead gen and revenue numbers and as we all know this year events slowly started up. Looking forward to 2022 having even more events 🤞 Hopefully no variants

Do you work at home office or client site if you have to work over the weekend? Any compliance issue? Local project and work from home never works for me.😞😞😢😭😿

Interviewing at McKinsey & Company and recruiter informed me I’d be based out of “North America” and can work in any city where there’s a McK office. I’ve seen several posts here about people being assigned to a home office, even if working remotely most of the time. Curious if this more general assignment is new?

I started having wrist pain in the fall and it has flared up a lot recently. My PCP and a hand surgeon both said they had no idea what it was, since the location of pain was inconsistent. folks with wrist injuries: how have you coped? I feel lost without a diagnosis. I stretch and I take breaks and I have ergonomic equipment, and still I am in pain. Any advice is welcome, as are any sympathies or commiserations
