Does anyone have an ATT or know what an ATT designation is? Is this the UK equivalent of a US Enrolled Agent?

My understanding is that it’s a tax specific qualification in the UK but has less prestige than the CTA. So I would kind of agree with your comparison to an EA which is also easier to pass and less of a qualification than a CPA.

Fifty-something caught in the work transfer of a spouse. Haven’t really found that niche yet in SW Florida. Retirement funded nicely; emergency account in place; house paid off; kids college completed. Need something fulfilling. Go back to school full time at this age for about 3/4 years to start a “new career” (zero income coming in on my part) or find something to tolerate for the next approximate ten years — until retirement. Always been high functioning so this is a tough decision.

So, I’ve just completed an IEP draft, and as I was updating the present levels I felt like I had less data and less accurate data since we’ve come back this fall. I hate it because Its vital to have the data to put things in place for the student to be successful, although my students mental and physical well being and survival at school and in the world are more important than trying to gather accurate data when they are sitting in front of me. Any thoughts?

I have an offer to join a Tier 2 consulting firm next year (entry level). However, it seems like they have over-hired and they are now pushing the start date back by a few months. This is not great in itself, as I handed in my notice to my current employer last week, but I was wondering if I should be concerned about further pushbacks or even them withdrawing the offer. Is this something that happens, or will it just be a delay as they say?

Hi All
My wife is launching a little side hustle for herself where she just does data analysis or bank analysis for those under-resourced companies who don't have the time to do such fun tasks. She charges a portion of your charge out rate that will go to the client so you'll still be making profit, just less.

If anyone has anything please let me know and we can get discussing.

Cheers
