3. Dell/Ex-Dell employees, Kindly share your experience working with the company - How is the career growth & WLB
Thanks
Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service
I need a career mentor for the tech industry!!!

It depends on the company. Most hiring manager interviews will be behavioral (ie give an example of when you solved a problem, strengths/weaknesses etc) and also trying to figure out if you’re a good cultural fit. I’ve gotten some technical questions but nothing like compute CAC or something like that on the spot. They have been more general questions to see how you think. That being said, VERY few have asked me technical questions during an interview. It’s mostly been that you showcase your technical skills in the case study. For panel, depends on who makes up the panel. If it’s mostly finance people I would expect more behavioral and culture for questions. If it’s someone you would be a business partner for I would prep to answer questions about how you’ve collaborated with departments in the past and how you’ve been a value add to them.
This is really helpful thank you!!
