Microsoft why are you damn obsessed with making so much of your software “start on startup” by default?
It’s so annoying and Microsoft teams is the LeAST efficient chatting app out there so it’s awful on resources. Slack is SO much faster and doesn’t start on startup (I don’t think ?)…
you’re really quite something to blatantly copy the competition, make your product more sluggish, and then add in your nasty ass dark patterns. Microsoft teams = bloatware 90% of the time. Stop prioritizing it

Pay rises are capped at 15%. You might be able to get around it with a title bump, but probably not.
I do. It may depend on which agency you are with and the one you are going to. There is a cap to the pay increase and your current HR will be notified. It will have to be approved. Mostly it’s procedural. What’s great is all your benefit stuff just keeps accruing, etc. You may end up changing health insurance if you end up moving cities. It was pretty seamless. Only bummer is the salary cap.
That’s mostly what I figured — particularly about salary cap. It makes it especially tough to buffer what you make.
Interesting to know about benefits accrual, though..
