Does anyone have any experience with Clio Grow? Specifically; my firm is adding Grow (we already use Clio Manage). Documents/intakes need to be integrated/transferred over. Clio Grow has quoted a setup cost of $400, which included 2 intake forms and 3 documents. Trying to weigh the cost/benefit ratio; I can have my receptionist do it too for $10/hr. But wondering how difficult/intricate this whole process is and if it’s best left for Clio to handle for me.

It's pretty slick. We started using it about 3 months ago. Fantastic for tracking leads and info.

Did you use them to integrate and setup or did you do it yourselves ?

It’s a great system! The forms they provided for us wasn’t that great and it’s generally not hard to create forms. The documents are a bit more difficult and we’re trying to figure that out.

Where did you find a receipt I just for $10/hr?!

Many efforts to get into big law have been to no avail mainly because I only have LLM from Emory Law and my other law degrees are foreign. I am considering corporate, M&A, entertainment and sports as areas of practice. Please advise accordingly. Thank you!

Question re: salary. I’m thinking about accepting an offer at a small (4-6 attorneys) transactional firm. I would primarily be working on NDAs for clients. The role sounds great (no billable hours, fully remote, flexible hours/ can work from anywhere); however, the salary is $70K. I’m a new attorney, with only one year of experience. Does this salary seem low? If so, any advice on what someone in my position should ask for?

Our firm is growing fast and we need to add another attorney to keep up with the work. Our compensation package is 20-30% higher than what others firms in our area are offering. However, I’m still finding it difficult to get qualified associate to even apply for the position. I think part of the problem may be because we are located in a mid-sized city rather than a major metro area. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to attract talent when you are a newer small firm in a mid-size market?
