Legit shop. But imo below average service. I'd recommend spend the extra money for in-store purchase and get the better quality of service.
When you say below average service, what specifically are you referring to? Some of the watches I'm seeing are ~$1500-1800 below retail. Does the service really warrant that price difference?
Jomashop is what is referred to as a graymarket dealer. The watches are authentic but since they aren’t an authorized dealer the warranty with the watch is voided. However dependent on the cost of the watch - not having a warranty is something you might be willing to forgo. Also if you aren’t in New York - you also don’t have to pay sales tax which is another 7-8% discount
What SM1 was saying. I've bought watches from retail stores and taken them back over the years and never questioned, from Jomashop places I've been to are more reluctant to help. And getting through to customer service was the worst. They look for any reason not to honor their "guarentee"
Do you get box and official papers with jomashop? If not second hand value will be lower.
You get a box and an unsigned warranty packet- plus instructions and everything. It’s literally the same watch and everything without a valid warranty
I bought, and continue to wear daily, a Cartier Roadster, from AuthenticWatches.com in early 2009. The watch is legit, traced the serial number back to a dealer in Argentina. I saved $2k buying through authentic. Service from the seller was good and I now go to Torneau or Cartier directly for any service.
These places are legit. Although “grey”, they can house some fantastic deals. Suggest buying with a Visa card issued from a solid bank with good consumer protection services just in case...
