Im working on a position for our finance dept. hiring manager wants an accountant with financial analysis and planning background mixed with core accounting functions (Accounts payable/receivable) what job title would you recommend I use. I posted as Financial Analyst and not attracting pool we wanted. Previously posted as an Accountant role and still not attracting right candidates. Thoughts anyone?

Me and another teacher had a meeting with a parent and student. After the meeting, the admin asked us both to stay. He shut the door and yelled at me for not apologizing to the student (the other teacher did before the meeting and I 100% wanted to, but I felt like the opportunity wasn't there - and yes, I know I should have). Tomorrow I plan on apologizing to the student. But do I say something to the admin for yelling at me in front of a coworker? Or let it go.

Since starting at this company in January 2022, they’ve increased my base pay from 75k to 85k. Moved me in a desirable territory to maximize sales. allowed me to speak and train reps for what has been working. Given me the freedom to work strategies that work for me.

I absolutely love this company so far. I know my worth is higher than 85k base but sheesh. The way they value me and treat their employees right. Maybe it’s worth the lesser pay?

One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?

There is such a high turn over for teaching now. Most just see it as a job or stepping stone to something easier. I think the high turn over rate is due to lack of training. What do you think?
