Hi all! Does anyone have any advice/resources on how to prep for business intelligence roles interviews? For example, data analytics/viz quesions (not necessarily coding on spot but explain how I would approach a data related request). So far I have been answering based on my work experience, but want to do a more systematic prep if possible
Finished “on-site” interviews last Wednesday. Would I have heard if I made it to the HC?
Is anyone interested in practicing McKinsey style interviews? Have a final round coming up.
What’s your next move, if any? I had three interviews at the end of August (obtained outside of their normal recruiting process) with an AmLaw 100 firm for an associate job. The managing partner was up front with me that they are trying to gauge needs and that they need a month or two for something else to shake out. This was not a clear blowoff, in context. How/when do I show continued interest/remind them I exist politely/avoid hurting my odds? Assume I’m not delusional.
Going to India for first time stamping, I was advised to avoid Mumbai and Chennai due to increased scrutiny so I ve picked another location. What questions can I expect when you interview in a (1/2)

Partners - a candidate has made it to the final round with you. What do you notice and what sets apart a great candidate? More of a poll than a “here’s how to ace an interview."
I’m an immigrant with H1B. Been wanting to get out of my firm so badly but every time I apply outside, I start getting dragged into work at my current firm.I was going through some pretty rigorous interviews (I failed them) and have been in a slump since. Meanwhile my current firm keeps dumping work on me and I can’t find the time to apply outside. Anyone been through something similar? I’m losing hope. The politics is also so toxic, they started screwing me over since my last performance review.

Accidentally gave the wrong insurance information and was told there'd be a $1000 deductible. I can't stop thinking about how millions of Americans can't have access to healthcare because of this 😓
Feeling super stuck in my job, been there for 6 years and the work environment is so toxic! I’ve applied to another department for an internal position so I can try to stick it out while I continue to look for external positions. Considering getting a career coach because I’ve been applying to jobs and I’ve been struggling. I’m trying not to quit my current job but I’m hanging by a thin thread and feeling super frustrated. Anyone hired a career coach before? Any tips on finding a good one?
How long do you think it’d take to “explore” Chicago? Have opportunity to work remote from US and would love to travel from city to city maybe every year or every 6 months and wondering if a year is enough time to get a good experience out of Chicago
Curious as to what the views on canibas (medical & recreational use) are in the finance industry. From what I've seen, it's a stigma compared to alcohol, but maybe it just appears that way?
