Does anyone have any insight into the salary range for Specialists at McKinsey? Glassdoor says $180k average total comp, but that seems high…

Depends on the track - Expert vs Solution delivery has a pay difference. Expert is higher. $175 is closer to base pay (without bonus) for Specialist on expert track

Which track? Specialists make around 200TC

They will probably bring you in at senior analyst level, doubt they will give you specialist but good luck!

The one I’m looking at is in Operational Resilience

I have been approached with an opportunity at JP Morgan Chase for their private client advisor role. The book is about 30M all in. I am currently an experienced hybrid asset manager wholesaler and have experience in advising as well. Curious about the opportunity with JPM and if it’s worth it. I currently make about 160k and if JPM would give me a high draw for the first 3 years to build, and if it’s feasible to sustain that 160+ there.

The managing partner of my office likes to make jokes about Covid now that it is “over” (either in small group convos or speeches to the office). My dad died from Covid, and I honestly feel like it’s so insensitive for him to make these comments when he knows that I lost my dad to it. Our office isn’t that big, and I don’t think many people forget being told that someone they know lost someone from Covid. It has made me consider leaving because of it, but the economy isn’t great.
