I wasn't at Freddie Mac but a Federal Home Loan Bank which should be similar. Great WLB, decent perks but meh $$ and pretty slow paced. I got really bored

Were there decent promos and raises at least? Looking at an associate position at Freddie with ~90k salary + 5% bonus which for the wlb might be worth it but idk about growth

How tough is it to break into a FAANG PM role at mid-level if you have less prestigious experience? I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?

Has anyone done a US vs Europe analysis for MBA and beyond? Aiming to shift to Product Management post MBA, mostly for a better WLB US: Houses some of the best schools with a huge tech market, but in the long term - getting a Green Card for an Indian (me) is tough, I've heard. Europe: Pays relatively less across most industries - but places like Amsterdam have a culture that promotes WLB What other things would you consider? PS: Accepted into LBS, awaiting results from US schools
