@other BD folks at Deloitte KPMG EY PwC - how technical are you? I got brought in to sell a tech heavy solution that combines Red Hat, Salesforce, Service Now and I feel like I’m WAY out of my depth. I’m hitting numbers now but still have a heavy dose of imposter syndrome.
Any tips on how to get more technical? Or how to manage as a non-technical person in a very technical space??

One of my good friends works there and has been very successful! The comp plans they outlined were accurate for her and she has been promoted a few times now. Unsure what % of their reps make it but it’s a good place for those who do!
Awesome that’s great to hear. Thank you!
I don't know about Paycom specifically but the payroll industry is a great place to be - I'm fairly certain you can at least make the same while working less hours (or make more with the same hours) once you've found your footing.
I wouldn’t consider it if I was making the same. I appreciate your comment!
Agreed, I think this is a great offer, esp compared to what you have!! I'm amazed that you are not getting commission - definitely unfair, really hope this next role is awesome!
I was in that position once. Appreciative of the foundation I built, but was 100% ready to go. I did, and never looked back! It was definitely time to go (8 years later I make 3x what I did there and have a better work life balance. Can’t beat it!)
I’m not sure of the hours or work life balance but I hear that sales team at Paycom is the highest paid in the company because the CEO is a sales person through and through.
