Does anyone have any recommendations for a years of service awards vendor? We are looking to move to an online catalog where our employees can pick the gift they want.
Thanks in advance!

Our company uses OC Tanner as a vendor for our service awards. They provide a paper and online catalogue. I would highly recommend as well. Another good option would be Halo Recognition.

Same.

Why it is so much difficult to switch for heigher experience people. I m having 11 yoe.
As per experience, in current organization working as a lead. Have experience in many of the Java technologies. But when I told I worked it 7 years back every thing vanished and like I'm fresher. They don't even bother to ask questions.

They want web services development, hibernate, react, angular, node. We can't work everything at a time right?

How do you guys tackle this in interview.

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - lauren

There’s no such thing as a perfect job.

I know there are definitely worse out there so it’s hard to put my foot down and resign, I could just stick it out for a year but am feeling demotivated and too exhausted to do anything else but sleep after hours/weekends. Have you ever started working somewhere and although nothing overtly wrong or terrible about the place / colleagues, it just didn’t feel like the right fit & if so, what did you do?
