What are the most convenient and hassle-free options for L1/H1B visa holding consultants to invest in US? (Hassle = employee compliance, FBAR etc. filing, high tax return preparation costs)

On the I 485 form, are parking and speeding tickets considered criminal acts?

Also do we have Alien numbers if we've only been on H1B?

My H1B transfer was filed yesterday. The 15 day limit, does it start from the time of filing or does it start from the moment we receive our receipt notice?

I recommend Lex Friedman’s podcast with Nic Carter. Nic carter is amazing. He slightly covered many FUDs against bitcoin. PwC is sponsoring the greencard only in the EB3 category. I have a masters from a very reputable engineering school in the US. My current role though does accept people with bachelors degree, so a masters is not mandatory. Is it worth proceeding with the EB3 application or should I try to explore alternate options? I am running out of time on my current H1B as well. In a super dilemma.

I have an H1b that was approved in 2019 and have been working on another visa. That is now expiring and I will have to return home to get my stamping for my H1B. Does the EO impact this? Was unsure as my approval date was before the EO.

Currently at Bain at manager level with 207K TC(after tax). Have an offer from a boutique consulting firm (part of a larger executive search firm) that focuses on People/Org consulting. Currently their regional office here is quite small so they have almost a startupy vibe. They are offering an engagement leader role with very similar salary(~5% pay cut). However, the big sell is apparently their hours are much better(45-50 pw) vs my current average of around 60-65.

Should I consider it?
