Does anyone have experience in ISV sales at Salesforce? I am currently in direct sales as an AE and have had bad luck and received a bad territory 2 of my past 3 years. I love meeting with people and the strategy behind sales but don’t want as much pressure. I was thinking ISV sales at Salesforce, AWS, etc would give me less pressure but still great pay and the ability to work with people more and less cold calling and emailing. Thoughts?

My jaw dropped at the comp numbers and I also really love the product, their selling philosophy (buyer centric, empathetic ; less volume based), and I feel like the CEO is an extremely empathetic bit straight forward person.

Good morning! I work in Medicare sales and I’m just getting tired of sales because I have to change these elderly people on their insurance very frequently, and it’s frustrating most of the time. I eventually want to be a Christian counselor and I just stared school but that’ll take awhile to get where I want to be. I just want to be happy right now without taking a major pay cut leaving sales. I’m making 80k now, I don’t need to keep making that but a decent amount while still helping people. 🙏
