I think you are the stupid one SC1, read he regulations, we have to report which insurance policy we buy and if EY audits them it might be restricted.

like

Careful with lemonade as they are an audit client of EY. Log it in GMS

like

True. U do have to report it. But it's 0% a problem

like

It may be a problem if you work in the office that the account for the restricted entity is tied to or perform certain types of advisory work for the restricted entity that are allowed to be performed for those entities. Don't make broad sweeping statements regarding independence, how bout that?

like

SC1, you still don't fucking get it.

like

Again looser

like

@EY1, are you stupid or what? OP is talking about buying home 🏡 insurance. Not investing in Lemonade.

Fail SC1... big time fail.

SC1 - I'll explain this slowly since you are clearly dumb. Lemonade is an insurance company based in NY (InsureTech). EY audits them, therefore you need to report it. Enjoy your PIP.

Hopefully SC1 doesn't work at Deloitte..

Yeah...every major insurance company is either an audit or consulting client. It's not a big deal to buy a renters policy. If it where we couldn't get insurance anywhere

D1, it still *must* be reported if it's a restricted entity (read: audit client).

Somebody answer OP's question

I work in Insurance industry for last 7 years. Seen many examples like that and buying an insurance from the company where your company is doing an auditing wouldn't be an issue. You can report that well.as long as you not investing money you are good. All other dumb asses are hopefully understand the matter now.

PwC1, I can see that you fucking getting it.

Your grasp on independence compliance is about as firm as your grasp on the English language.

So you didn't get a point to confess that your an asshole and trying to change the topic.

Well done must be doing the same thing at work.

Dude. You really need to take a basic English course; your written communication skills are horrendous. Good for you that you spent the last 7 years in the insurance industry; that doesn't, however, make you an expert on the independence and compliance requirements associated with working for a Big 4 firm. Let me break it down for you, Barney-style: It does not fucking matter if you've spent the last 7 years in insurance; grammar and sentence structure mistakes aside, making broad-sweeping statements like "buying an insurance from the company where your company is doing an auditing wouldn't be an issue," is short-sighted and a dead giveaway that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Yikes. I really just wanted to know about the product experience. Thanks for the independence reminder, but we don't need be jerks about it, do we?

Any fish here dealt with a lonely/toxic parent? I recently came to the realization that my mom is toxic (think guilt-tripping, saying mother-child bond is sacred, making comparisons, etc.) and has become very dependent of me, and as much as I want to be there I can only do so much since I have a family myself. She refuses to move to a nursing/retirement home, look for companionship, and seek professional help for tasks she needs done such as car maintenance, insurance inquiries, etc. (Cont’d)

There is a paralegal (not mine) in my firm that is making everyone miserable. She cries at her desk, complains about being overworked and is rude to the other paralegals, staff, and a couple of the attorneys. She is so disrespectful to me that I recently asked to work from home for a month (I am dealing with some other mental health issues and she is too much). My request was granted, and last Friday I was in the office to make sure several motions were filed properly. Continued in comment:

Does your company's health plan cover infertility treatment? If so, what is the lifetime cap if any? My company just implemented a cap—admittedly we were lucky before—but this new cap of $30k only covers ~$6k in medical expenses (another ~$23k in prescriptions) which wouldn't even get us through one IVF cycle (extract/implant once).

What are some areas you would recommend both in Va and WV? What else should they consider prior to house hunting? Dad likes to garden/farm as well so looking for homes with large backyards. Tia!

Does anyone else hate the interviews that you think have gone well, but then you end up being ghosted? I thought I did well because the interviewer told me I would ‘fit right into the team and team culture’ and said ‘keep an eye on your email, we move quickly and you’ll probably hear about next steps in the next few days’. Makes me feel like I am terrible at reading situations (on top of being terrible at interviewing). I hate not knowing what I did wrong and what I should be fixing.
